About Dan and Allie
Allie currently works for Christian Education National as the Teaching and Learning Advisor in Victoria and Professional Learning Presenter nationally. She enjoys working with leaders and educators to assist them to explore creative ways to engage students challenging and equipping them to live as authentic followers of Jesus in this current cultural climate. Prior to consulting work, Allie was part of the teaching team at Maranatha Christian School as a second teacher (History, Legal, Bible).
She has been part of the team of writers to produce Transformation by Design: The Big Picture (2015) and Transformation by Design: Crafting Formational Learning: A Teaching Practice Resource for Christian Schools (2019). Allie completed her Bachelor of Arts and Education (2005) and Masters of International Education and Educational Leadership (2010) through Monash University.
Allie is a follower of Jesus and finds joy in a fun-filled life with her husband and three young children.
Daniel has worked in many settings and roles, ranging from classroom teaching in Tasmania, establishing a school in the Solomon Islands, Principal at three schools, a specialist Sustainable Education teacher, University Lecturer and relief teacher.
Daniel is passionate about this world and all its various problems and joys. His understanding of the full scope of salvation compels him to be involved in bringing shalom to bear in the various practical issues of injustice and environmental mis-stewardship.
He was part of the team of writers to produce Transformation by Design: Crafting Formational Learning: A Teaching Practice Resource for Christian Schools (2019) and regularly contributes to the Christian Teachers Journal.
Finally, Daniel is a committed disciple of Jesus, a loving husband and father of four children.
